All Norge K-5 students are participating in the Hour of Code this week during Computer Lab Centers. Elementary students learn how to code using a simplified coding language called “blockly”. Students ‘snap’ these blocks together to create code that the computer can read. All students learn to sequence, loop, and debug while advanced students also learn about functions, if/then statements, events, and so much more!
Norge students practice coding all year, however during the Hour of Code week they play interest-based coding games to enhance their practice and hone their skills.
